Tom Brown

Tom Brown takes us on a tour of the glasshouses in the Victorian walled gardens at West Dean, West Sussex. Tom has been at the helm for a year now, following on from former head gardeners Jim Buckland and Sarah Wain. He shows us the glass house collections and explains how he is coping during lockdown working alone in the garden. West Dean is a not just a truly incredible garden with many different areas but also a college of Art and Conservation. Students use the gardens as part of their college courses as well as the gardens being a much loved destination.
