The Garden blooms in Eastern Europe


With the fall of the ‘iron curtain’, there have been massive changes in eastern Europe, including a boom in interest in gardening. We look at some aspects of horticulture in Poland in communist times, and talk to some of the dynamic characters at the centre of the more recent gardening trends in Ukraine and Lithuania.
