Karl Foerster – The 20th century’s most influential gardener?

Prof. Norbert Kühn tells the story of the German plant breeder, nurseryman, writer and magazine editor who was at the heart of Weimar Germany’s artistic elite. Foerster was a towering figure in what was at the time, one of the world’s most advanced garden cultures; his influence lives on in the US as well as in central Europe – hence our title.
