Gardens High Up Sky – roof gardens in Beijing


Brandon Chen’s ‘day job’ is in international trade, but as a student in Britain he fell in love with gardens. Back home in Beijing there isn’t much space so he has made a roof garden, which led on to him making them for other people. Here he talks about his skyhigh garden projects, his favourite plants and in passing, the horrendous problems faced by householders during China’s draconian covid clampdown.
