Adam Shepherd – The world of vertical gardens

Adam Shepherd – An exploration into the realm of vertical gardens

At the intersection between horticulture and art, Adam creates vertical gardens, including living walls, spheres, columns and pretty much any other shape you can imagine. He constantly experiments with planting combinations and continually expands his plant selection. Evergreens are used to create the structured backdrops in front of which “a myriad of perennials can dance and sing with all the drama, colour and seasonality they possess”. A variety of vertical gardens are shown and the essential details for their construction illustrated.
